The cool to cold weather is persisting...although the bird world is just about full on with most birds having or about to settle down to breed (the blackbirds in the garden are still taking food to the nest)....the insects are gradually getting there....with the main season being July and August....moths shoould soon start to increase in numbers but are still turning up....

Two Common Marbled Carpet were in the moth trap this morning, along with 2 Cockchafers and an Icumen wasp that I am attempting to i.d.....will put a picture up when thats been accomplished....
