Incoming.............!!

Last week a group of around 15 Starlings turned up in the garden...mostly plain brown juveniles....well done spotty adult Starlings, success....especially as they are a species in decline.....hard to believe but true......

Anyway, the neighbourhood cat chased them off and then decided to try to hide in our garden....mistake....i have now taken to putting one of my sons pump action water pistols by the door....so I casually wandered down the garden and although the cat made a dash for it behind the shed it was there that I caught up with him....!!....and if he comes back....its the same again....

In the meantime, the Starlings have been back and forth in smaller groups...here are a few pictures, not great, but take through the window....
