Beauty

.....around 30 moths in the trap again this morning....highlights were....

Brindled Beauty....not a new species for the garden.....but a lovely moth to catch....

....for a brief few seconds it posed nicely 'open winged'....

Below is an Early Thorn, I posted a picture of this species just the other day.  This one is definitely a male, much more colourful than a female, which is usually the way of the world in nature...
