New Life

About two weeks ago we noticed frogs spawn in the pond.  Hooray!  Considering there are so many frogs in the pond there certainly should be some product of some kind!!
Having heard about tadpoles in other peoples pond we finally caught up with our on Saturday.....

There are a few tadpoles around, with plenty more still to appear.  We will be rescuing some of them to grow in to small frogs before we put them back.  At least this way we are assured of some success (they will have to take it from there themselves!).  With dragonfly larvae waiting to eat some of the tadpoles we do try to do our little bit and give nature a hand.......and its obviously fascinating for our little boy.
