Not much time spent in the garden recently due to the weather not being terrific, builders and working and general stuff getting in the way....the birds in the garden seem to have mostly disappeared though I dont know why.
The House Sparrows are still around a lot of the time and a Sparrowhawk now seems to be calling by regularly which would suggest there is a reasonable population of birds in the area...but not in my garden?...hmmmm....interesting....
I have put the feeders out and a few tits have shown interest and a Goldfinch was there the other day but so little has been around its not been worth opening the net here....though....I have now set up my orchard site and am catching birds there....so keep an eye on that blog too....
