Slowly slowly

...catchy mothy.....

8 in the trap last night, though nothing new for this year so refer to previous pictures for the last few entries....

In the meantime heres a newt....as you can see its a bit on the spotty side with some orange underneath....attained this picture whilst emptying the pond the other week to change the liner...I think all the newts are the same species....

....and heres a caterpillar...my son came across this whilst I was cleaning out the pond......Im not 100% sure so im checking it out, but I would guess at Angle Shades moth...
